- Investigation/Assessment report
- Documents in support of claim amount such as invoices for windscreen claims, garage quotation
- For cases of total loss/theft: Ownership documents, such us log book/transfer form/car keys/certificate of insurance
- Policy excess where applicable

- Police abstract for theft or fire
- Witness statement or insured’s statement of the circumstances of loss
- Documents in support of claim amount or existence of items, e.g. invoices and receipts

- Original certified copy of death certificate
